Hi! I’m Katie. I’m a mum of three, registered nurse and a certified first aid trainer. I’m on a mission to make your life as a parent a little less overwhelming.

The reality is, parenting is lots of lovely bits mixed in with a few challenges.

Preparing for the arrival of your new child is an exciting time. You’re setting up the nursery, reading parenting books and debating names. But also, there’s a bit of a reality check that you’re about to be responsible for the wellbeing of another little human. You’re officially the ‘grown up’.

Even small things can feel scary when it’s your own child, or one in your care. And unfortunately not all boo-boos are fixed with a colourful band-aid and a kiss. But what’s the right call to make when injury or illness strikes? You’re the adult here, all eyes are on you to know what to do!

My mission is to empower parents and caregivers

Getting prepared with some essential knowledge and first aid skills can help alleviate those moments of panic. You don’t have to have all the answers, but having the right awareness can make situations a little less stress-y. Through my sessions, you’ll learn how to respond effectively when your child is sick or injured, reducing anxiety and increasing your confidence (and helping you feel like the ‘grown up’ in any situation).

I want to help create more confident caregivers

As a nurse and mum of 3, I've seen the fear and uncertainty new parents face when their child falls ill or experiences an injury (and I’ve been there too!). I studied and worked as a nurse in New Zealand, and now as an expat, have trained in local first aid guidelines, meaning I’m familiar with both Singapore standards and the expectations of other expat parents.

Everyday I encounter parents feeling helpless and overwhelmed, unsure of how to respond when their child is sick or injured. It’s normal to be concerned, but I believe no parent should feel powerless in these situations. With the right knowledge and training, fear can be transformed into confidence, so you can focus on supporting your child.

That's why I started this business, using my nursing expertise and personal experience as a mum to create sessions tailored to the realities of parenting.

It’s important to know you’re not alone. Reaching out for some guidance is the right thing to do, no matter where you are in your parenting journey. Join a community of strong, confident parents. Don’t fear the inevitable illness and injury that comes with childhood. Be prepared, be confident, and be ready to face any health challenge your child might encounter. Worry less; care more.
